SHANNON KONE is a photographer with a unique background, rooted in both Germany and Papua New Guinea. Born and raised in Hanover, Germany she started studying Visual Journalism at the Hanover University of Applied Sciences. shannon is now based in Berlin.

through her lens, Kone captures poignant moments that explore intimate human connections, mental health, and the ongoing journey of self-discovery. time and patience are central to her creative process, with her stories emerging through deep research and extended interviews. in her work, she focuses on the quiet moments, confronting the rapid pace of modern life with a bold, reflective gaze.

her photography portfolio spans portrait and documentary work, as well as event and concert photography for various artists and organizations. among them are FS GREEN, Kelvyn Colt, Noah Slee, A Song For You, Abdullah Miniawy, and Yerai Cortés, along with many other independent musicians.

shannon has also documented festivals such as Melt! Festival, Rocken am Brocken, and Kiez Kultur Festival. Beyond her festival work, she has contributed to renowned cultural institutions and platforms, including photographing the Tyler Mitchell exhibition at C/O Berlin, as well as working with Theater des Westens,90mil, Monopol Berlin, and many others.
