MANY VOICES IN ONE FORM
a body that carries the stories of many. an identity that cannot be reduced to a single core. a living paradox of privilege and marginalization, contained within the form of one person.
the work MANY VOICES IN ONE FORM explores the lived experiences of individuals with a mixed-race background. what does it mean to grow up between cultures? how does identification function? Which stories shape you, and which stories do you choose to tell?
through in-depth interviews, MANY VOICES IN ONE FORM becomes a collage-like portrait project—searching for intimacy and relatability, vulnerability and the joy of being and becoming human.
a collaborative work in progress between Betty Einhausen and Shannon Kone.
